The Jump Savings Plan is no longer open to new applications.

Savings plan account holder optionsAs stated in our letter to Account Holders dated 11th February 2019, applications to open accounts with Hargreaves Lansdown received up to 15th March have been included in the 23rd March 2019 transfer. For Account Holders who have made other elections their wishes have also been implemented as instructed.

Other than Child Trust Funds and accounts in the hands of Executors (for which other arrangements will apply), accounts that remain open will automatically be transferred to the Board’s preferred option of Hargreaves Lansdown on May 11th. If you wish to transfer to a different account provider, please advise us by 29th March. If you are happy for your account(s) to be transferred to Hargreaves Lansdown on May 11th, you do not need to take any further action, although if in the meantime you send your account transfer request form to Hargreaves Lansdown (agreeing to their terms and conditions) it may accelerate the full activation of the account once it has been opened on May 11th.


The Boards of Witan Investment Trust (Witan) and Witan Investment Services (WIS) have reviewed the current service level available to our Savings Scheme Account Holders. In light of the increasing variety, capability and cost effectiveness of investment platforms in the wider savings market they have concluded that the interests of Account Holders would best be served by a transfer (free of exit charges) to a specialist investment platform. They have chosen Hargreaves Lansdown, a FTSE 100 Company, as the recommended option, although Account Holders will also have the option to transfer to a different provider of their choice.

Coupled with this, in recent years there has also been a substantial increase in the regulatory cost associated with the provision of the Schemes which has been borne by Witan shareholders as a whole.

We are confident that the proposed transfer will result in improved flexibility and choice for Account Holders, at a competitive cost.
